Dear NPAS Community:
The district’s 2025 operating referendum has passed with 66% approval from voters!
On behalf of all district staff and students, I want to thank our communities for approving this proposal. The board and administration spent a great deal of time creating a proposal that provided needed funding for our schools while balancing the financial impact for district residents. We greatly appreciate your willingness to learn about the district’s needs
The additional $2 million per year from the recently approved operating levy will help to stabilize our short and long term funding. Using these additional funds, the district will be able to maintain current class sizes, bus routes and student programming while reducing the need for budget reductions in the near future.
The approval of the operating levy is yet another indication of the ongoing support the district receives. We are very fortunate to be part of communities that value the importance of providing high-quality learning opportunities for each student. As has been our tradition, we will continually work to be fiscally responsible stewards of this investment to our school system.
