Grateful Parents for Great Staff Newsletter

A Conference Day potluck meal for NPHS staff on Thursday, March 12th will now be coordinated by GPGS (Grateful Parents for Great Staff) in partnership with many parent volunteers, including longtime organizer Christi Ryburn. For the past 16 years, this meal has been lovingly organized by Christi and  many dedicated parents, who stepped up year after year to bless our high school staff during long conference days. This tradition has become something our staff truly looks forward to, and they deeply appreciate the care and generosity behind it.

As Christi's youngest children grow older and she prepares to pass the baton, GPGS is honored to continue this meaningful tradition alongside her during this transition year. We are so grateful for the foundation she and so many parents have built. GPGS is a parent-led nonprofit that began two years ago at New Prague Middle School and is dedicated to supporting and appreciating the staff who serve our schools. Through a monthly newsletter and staff appreciation efforts throughout the year, we work to ensure our educators and staff feel valued, supported, and seen.

To streamline communication and avoid confusion, we will continue to be  one coordinated Conference Potluck (held twice a year during fall and spring conferences), now organized through GPGS. Our high school staff truly appreciates having a meal provided during conferences, and we are excited to make this happen again…but we really need your help. Whether you contribute food, donate funds, or volunteer your time for set-up or clean-up, every contribution helps make this special tradition possible.
