NPHS Trojan Celebrations
Advanced Placement Scores: 72% of students who took an AP Exam in 2026 earned a score of 3 or higher. This saved our students and families over $40,000.
Concurrent Enrollment Statistics: Our students earned over 4,600 college credits by taking concurrent enrollment classes at NPHS. This saved our students and families over $2.4 million!
Graduation Rate: 98% Go Trojans!
9th Grade Focus: A Framework for Success at NPHS
This year, all NPHS 9th-grade students will participate in short, weekly lessons built directly into their core classes to support a successful transition to high school. Through our grade level framework, students will develop essential habits across three key areas.
- Academic Habits: Mastering study skills, note-taking, test prep, and time management.
- Engaged Learner Habits: Building self-advocacy, organization, focus, and collaboration skills.
- Mindset & Reflection: Fostering a growth mindset, goal-setting, and personal accountability.
Our lessons draw from a variety of resources, including Top 20 Teens lessons, the Be Good People curriculum, and short instructional videos from researchers focused on how the brain learns and how to study effectively.
By focusing on these core skills together as a school community, we aim to empower our freshmen with the tools, confidence, and routines they need to thrive at NPHS and beyond. Keep an eye out for our monthly family updates to see what your student is learning and how you can support these habits at home!
Duck Cup Memorial Presentation at New Prague High School
We look forward to hosting a speaker sponsored by the Duck Cup Memorial to present to all NPHS students about reducing the stigma associated with mental health. Presentations will occur on Tuesday, October 20th. This presentation is made possible by the Duck Cup Memorial Fund. The Duck Cup is a non-profit community group that was started by New Prague High School Alumni following the suicide of one of their classmates. Their goal is to raise awareness regarding suicide education and prevention. Please visit their website for more information. NPHS would like to thank the Duck Cup Memorial for their support of our students!
Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 4:15-8:00 PM AND Friday, October 30th, 2026 from 8:00-11:00 AM at New Prague High School. We support the Minnesota Department of Education’s statement that “family engagement positively impacts student achievement as well as college and career readiness” and look forward to welcoming you to NPHS.
