Camp Enterprise Opportunity
Camp Enterprise is an exciting opportunity through Rotary International, where students participate in a 3-day camp focused on entrepreneurship and leadership. Students will participate in team-building and leadership activities, listen to keynote speakers and business professionals, network with professionals and MN students, discuss case studies, and develop a hypothetical product to learn about researching, marketing, and investing.
The Rotary Club of New Prague is excited to sponsor interested NPHS students in attending Camp Enterprise in 2025!
Details: Thursday, Nov. 6 - Saturday, Nov. 8 in Maple Lake, MN. There is no cost for students to attend this three-day camp.

Dear NPHS Families and Students,
Homecoming 2025 is scheduled to begin Sunday, September 28, 2025, with Powderpuff Football being our kick-off event. This week is a great opportunity for our communities to come together and celebrate our New Prague Trojans! NPHS has had a great start to the school year and we would like to thank our students for making positive choices and our families for supporting them.
During our student meetings at the beginning of the year, we emphasized the importance of committing to "The New Prague Way." We will always strive to Do What's Right, Commit to Excellence and Show People You Care in all areas of our school, including our fan sections. We expect all students and fans who attend NPHS events to engage in appropriate behavior at all times. We will continue to cheer for our students rather than bring our opponents down and hope to see large fan sections at all of our Homecoming events.
We encourage you to discuss the fan expectations that are linked below with your students to promote positive decision-making both on and off campus during Homecoming Week. Thank you for your partnership in making Homecoming 2025 an event we can all be proud of!
Sincerely,
Brian Thorstad Principal New Prague High School

2025 Proud Tradition AND Promising Future Referendum
In collaboration with supportive communities, the New Prague Area Schools have a proud tradition of providing high-quality levels of education for all NPAS students. In order to stabilize funding to help ensure a promising future for all students, the NPAS are asking local voters for an operating levy increase that will help maintain high levels of programming and avoid future budget reductions.
New Prague Area Schools’ Career Exploration Day – October 2
New Prague High School is excited to announce that it will be hosting our second annual New Prague Area Schools’ Career and Tech Day on October 2. This event aims to provide students in grades 10 and 11 with a high-impact, effective, and efficient day to explore various career areas.
Students will explore a diverse range of career paths and areas of interest, including those they may not have encountered before. Over 50 businesses and technical schools will set up booths for students to explore. Our featured speakers will be Nick Slavik from Nick Slavik Painting and Restoration and Maddie Lijewski from Scott Equipment.
Minnesota Education Fair - October 2nd
New Prague High School is excited to host the Minnesota Education Fair for 11th Grade Students and self- selected Seniors. Parents and Guardians may also attend this event at NPHS. The Education Fair will take place in the NPHS Gym from 1:00-2:30 PM on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025. We look forward to having representatives from 65 colleges and universities (two and four year) on campus for our students and families to discuss their post-secondary plans!
