About Me

My background in very condensed form; I grew up in Alabama, graduated from Notre Dame with a BS in Biology, married a New Prague native and started my teaching career in Eagan after earning a MA in Education from St. Thomas. We have lived in New Prague for 25+ years and raised 6 children, 4 of whom have graduated from NPHS (the last 2 are current students). I get my energy and motivation to teach from the value that I know a good education has been to my own kids. I strive to challenge my students while also offering grace to the process of growing up. In my free time I enjoy reading, flower gardening, spending time with my (perfect) grandson and pretending to be good at a variety of hobbies!
