Yes, counselors will use your alternate choices, if needed. Your counselor will choose a replacement class based on what is available.

No. The schedule is built based on registration information and drives staffing and creating the schedule. There is no guarantee that courses will follow the same schedule or have the same teacher year-to-year.

Students can take one study hall each semester of their high school career and still earn 48 credits. This is one more than the required 47 credits to graduate.

No. The master schedule will not accommodate preferences of this nature.

Yes, course #3000 designates semester one; #4000 designates semester two.

Yes, many common mistakes are avoided by reading the course descriptions for NPHS classes. A thorough planning process during registration will help to prepare each student for their post secondary aspirations.

Talk to your School Counselor for help to select the method that works best for you to retake the class. Options like summer school, extended day (after school) classes or repeating a class during the regular school day are available.
